 By the state on August, 18, 2008 CJSC “Zakhidna Kompaniya “Dakor” gathered harvest on its 60% of sowing areas with spring and winter cultures, including 100% of winter rapeseed.
I. Chief agronomist CJSC "Western Company "Dakor" Sowa Olexandr inform, that by the state on August the company has gathered harvest on its 60% of sowing areas with spring and winter cultures. The process of gathering winter rapeseed has been finished already, in respect gathering other winter and spring crops the company is going to finish till the 25 of August in calendar year.
In general, because of the difficult climate conditions during the period of harvesting, the productivity of winter rapeseed make the followings indexes – 21300 ton, on the area of 7725 ha, thus middle productivity made 27,5 center per hectare.
The best indexes of the productivity on winter rapeseed were attained in farm "Zahidagro", where middle productivity made 37,1 c/ha on the area of 1100 hа. There has been collected 4085 ton. of rapeseed.
On the period of 2008/2009 year company is planning to sow 10 ths.he. of winter rapeseed. At the present time 70% of its area has been prepared for sowing winter rapeseed. The company fully provided  itself with the high-quality seed of winter rapeseed from leading plant-breeding firms: “MONSANTO”; “RAPSGBR”; “DSV”; “DOUTSCHE SEATVEREDELUNG”, and by mineral fertilizers from a firm "YARA". Also, 5 seeding machine of firm John Deere were additionally purchased by the company. In general, while sowing winter rapeseed 12 new sowing aggregates will be involved (3 aggregates of firm VÄDERSTAD, 5 aggregates of firm John Deere, 3 aggregates of firm GASPARDO, and one from Lemken -Soliter ), that will enable to sow more than 1 thousand hectares for a day long .
A sowing company will start in August, 21. Olexandr Sowa says that at presence of these aggregates the sowing company will be conducted in optimal terms for the western region of Ukraine.
II. By the state on August, 18, 2008 the collection of winter and spring grain-crops lasts. On collection of winter wheat and beer barley the best indexes demonstrates farm "Nuwa", where the productivity of the noted cultures makes according to 62 c. /hectare and 51 c. /hectare. On this time in the company the middle productivity of grain-crops makes 42 c. /hectare, which exceeds middle one in Ukraine, which makes 37 c. /hectare.
Olexandr Sowa notarized, that the tendency of harvest goes to the increase, as areas which were strongly damage as a result of unfavorable climate terms, are gathering firstly.
 In general we are planning to gather 20-30% higher harvest, then predicted one.
