Group of companies “Dakor” has started spring field campaign.
The chief agronomist of CJSC “Zakhidna Kompaniya “Dakor” Oleksandr Sowa inform:
“At the present time the separate farms started to fertilize winter rapeseed and the land for the sugar beet. The start of new sowing campaign is planed on the 10-th of May, but it could change because of the weather conditions. All the machinery park is already ready for sowing”
According to the plan, 25 thousands of hectares will be sown with spring crops during the season 2009/2010, including 14,5 ths. ha. of high quality brewery barley seeds and 1,4 ths. ha. of spring rapeseed, 2,3 ths. ha. of soya beans. For the sugar beet 17 ths. hа. are already prepared.
Beside that, the total amount of winter cops over the farms of group “Dakor” is 32,5 ths. hа, including nearly 10 ths. hа of winter rapeseed and 20 ths. hа of winter wheat.
On the 19-th of May the complex analyses of winter crops hibernation was done. The results are positive for high harvest expectation.
We would like to mention, that such high rate is the result of autumns field work surfaced for the necessary phase of seeds development before winter period.
