CJSC “Zakhidna kompaniya “Dakor” has already finished spring crops sowing campaign.
The chef agronomist of CJSC “Zakhidna kompaniya “Dakor” Oleksander Sowa informs that spring crops sowing campaign has been finished successfully in optimal terms because of the coordinate work of each links of the technological process and all the preparations for the sowing campaign had been done in advance.
The amount of spring crops has already overcomes the planed one and consist of 26,5 ths. hа, including 15,8 ths. ha. of selected sort brewery barley; 1,5 ths. hа. of spring wheat; 1,2 ths. hа. of oats; 1,3 ths. hа. of spring rapeseed; 1,8 ths. hа. of buckwheat. The process of sowing soya and buckwheat is still continuing.
Beside this, has been sowed 12,5 ths. hа. of sugar beat. This year, bay the way, because of changing the companies aim, the sowing area of sugar beat was rather decreased. At this time the main effort will be directed to the development of agrarian sector in the group of companies “Dakor”.
According to the status of winter crops, the weather conditions have conducted in negative way.
By the words of Oleksander Sowa, fall of the temperature and drought influence during the April result to reproductive period of crops and it influence to the decrease of expected crop capacity.
The planed works of crops protection from vermin, diseases and weeds are conducting at the present time. Except this, the company is preparing its grain-harvesting techniques for the harvest, which is planed to start in the middle of the June.
CJSC “Zakhidna Kompaniya “Dakor” – vertical integrated agrarian company , which consolidate 4 working sugar mill located in three regions of Ukraine, 15 agricultural farms with more then 122 ths. ha. of land in lease, limestone and sand career, auto transport enterprise, a factory with production of alternative fuel, elevator (grain-storage plant) and other subdivisions.
